ABSTRACT
This chapter lays a foundation for understanding use of information systems or ICT, especially as it occurs in the everyday experience of life or work. The foundation is laid in Dooyeweerd’s philosophy as outlined in Chapter 3, and takes the form of a conceptual framework with which extant discourses about ICT use may be affirmed, critiqued and enriched.
