ABSTRACT
I am exploring with children what it is to make pictures because I want to fi nd out what children are interested in and what they are capable of doing with the picture form as they mature. I earn a living as a writer/illustrator of children’s books and have been working as a volunteer in the Falmouth public schools when my schedule and the teachers’ permit.
