ABSTRACT
The People’s Republic of China (PRC) adopts one uniform legal system across its mainland (excluding Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions). Within the one legal system, there are 31 administrative jurisdictions with over 3,500 courts spreading across different regions in the mainland. The courts in the PRC are called the People’s Courts.
