ABSTRACT
IN REVIEWING THE WRITTEN trial transcripts-again, years later-I felt that the case against Michael Green was very weak. The strongest evidence was the victim’s having identified him. Prosecutor McGinty was correct when he told the jury that twenty or fifty years ago, this was all the evidence needed to convict someone. Without DNA, things have not changed much.
