ABSTRACT
Filling time with meaningful activities in order to make it pass is especially important for long-term prisoners (CPT 2013: 28; Report 2003: § 50). Work and education are essential as purposeful pastimes, but they are also considered to be preparations for release and integration into a normal work life.
