ABSTRACT
In the last decade China, India and Russia have developed significantly and have been involved in a process of catching up in many sectors. In this process, knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship (KIE) has played a key role by introducing innovations and fostering growth. KIE involves the creation of innovation networks of different actors such as firms, universities and other public organizations, which allow entrepreneurs to share information and to create new knowledge.
