ABSTRACT
Course Format: One section of the flipped Calculus course met for 100 minutes on Monday and then 50 minutes each on Wednesday and Friday; another section met for 100 minutes each on Tuesday and Thursday. One 50-minute segment per week was designated as a computer lab time in which students were expected to work on problem-solving tasks using computer software; both flipped and traditional sections had weekly computer lab sessions. Both sections met over the course of a 14-week semester.
