ABSTRACT

I am sure that most instructors would gladly trade a publication or two for the guarantee of classes filled with motivated and interested students actively interacting with the course material. Well, you can hold on to your publications for now because I cannot guarantee you such students. But I would like to discuss a technique that has worked quite well in motivating students and in helping them discover the important issues in various course materials. Students have said that this method gives them more confidence in their abilities to organize and deal with information and ideas.
