ABSTRACT

It is ironic that, in this so-called “liberated” age, there is more nonsense written and spoken about sex than almost any other topic. Part of the reason is the surprising degree of ignorance and misinformation that still abounds. Unfortunately, because people are not taught about sex in the same way as they are taught about literature or geometry, what is learned is often acquired by personal associations, personal consequences and personal observations. The associations and consequences are often best forgotten, and the observations can be misleading or damaging. Yet everyone is expected to know about sex, have lots of it, and enjoy it enormously.
