ABSTRACT
The Arbours Crisis Centre is a small therapeutic community that applies psychoanalytic thinking to its therapeutic work with very disturbed individuals as well as to the conceptualisation of its own structures. In the first section of this chapter, we introduce the structures of the Arbours Centre in terms of its psychological function and meaning. In the second, we discuss the work with one individual.
