Introduction

Multi-family groups have been utilized in social work in a number of settings to fulfill a variety of purposes. The articles presented in this volume reflect the diversity of client populations and patterns and processes contained in these groups. Social workers have written many articles pertaining to multi-family group therapy. Few articles, however, have incorporated knowledge from social group work or have been published in the social work literature.
