ABSTRACT
Residents on a heavy nursing care floor suffer from physical and cognitive impairments. As their conditions deteriorate, it is often difficult for families to maintain significant roles. A social work task is to enable family members to continue meaningful relationships within the institutional setting. This paper describes the use of a multi-family group in facilitating that process.
