ABSTRACT
We tum now to three major issues I find important, which have potentially general application and are testable experimentally, and for which a good deal of evidence already has been gathered. The resolution of these issues will have critical and broad consequences for understanding the processing of memories. It is toward their resolution that I present a brief review and some interpretations of each.
