ABSTRACT

It was clear at the beginning of this book, that many of the issues raised would not be resolved by the end of the book. That being given, perhaps one of the major accomplishments of the book is in laying the groundwork for the considerable additional work which will be required to develop a new generation of theoretically sound and operationally useful dynamic spatial models. In that vein, the purpose of this chapter is to identify and describe several of the major areas of concern.
