ABSTRACT

The ‘smart’ contemporary corporate/business parable Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is a well-timed sequel to the 1980s homage to capitalist greed that appears to ironically set up the systemic conflicts within corporate business culture, while at the same time upholding the economic ‘bottom line’.1 More recently the even more provocative parable The Wolf of Wall Street, which was a major box office success, speaks to such contentious debates for a new generation.
