ABSTRACT
This speech was delivered at Boston's Lesbian and Gay Pride March on June 15, 1985. Babets and Jean were gay partners whose two foster sons recently had been removed from their care by the Massachusetts Department of Social Services on grounds of unfitness, triggering a national protest.
