ABSTRACT

This address was delivered as one of the “Winter Talks” sponsored by the Albany Trust of London, which operated the Homosexual Law Reform Society. Grey was at this time the secretary of the society and the trust. He had been connected with the society since its founding in 1958 and had served as treasurer since 1960. “Antony Grey” was the pseudonym of activist A. E. G. Wright. The “Quaker report” refers to A Quaker View of Sex, published in London by the Friends Home Service Committee in 1964. The full name of the Dutch organization C.O.C. is the Cultuur en Ontspannings Centrum (Center for Recreation and Culture).
