ABSTRACT

The MPC can be an important and innovative aid for any treatment goal. It may be integrated into the therapy at any point. The MPC can be utilized for any goal, short or long term. A therapist may introduce it for any reason, at any time, since the possiblities are endless. The case-history examples that follow encompass material from clients who are Asian, Black, Caucasian, and Hispanic. This chapter includes the vignettes for the utilization of the MPC with descriptions of its application. The teacher at school reported a change in Jane's attitude. She had become withdrawn and had trouble concentrating on her studies. In composite, the MPC placed strong clues to Luis as a child who was filled with rage; who saw himself as an innocent victim in a classroom situation over which he had no control; and who worried that his mother was dying of cancer.
