ABSTRACT
When Professor Kimble invited me to prepare this tribute to Walter S. Hunter, he asked me for a title. I thought immediately of two: both were titles of Hunter publications. The first was “General Anthroponomy and its Systematic Problems,” the second was “An Open Letter to the Anti-behaviorists.” Kimble chose the second one but, in the process of the revision of the paper for publication, we agreed that, although I have things to say that pertain to both titles, the first is more appropriate.
