ABSTRACT
A collaborative, competency-based perspective not only hinges on the belief that change is possible but that RYCWs can play a major role in facilitating the change process. We know that change is constant, yet, as previously discussed, RYCWs often find themselves in a position of focusing on how youth remain stuck. In this chapter, we'll introduce ways that RYCWs can begin to shift their thinking and tap into the realm of change with youth. To get us started, let's take a look at Walt Disney, who had some ideas about how to create possibilities and change.
