ABSTRACT
I have been asking myself this question all my life. Am I Jewish? What does it mean to be Jewish? These are variants of the same enigma that I have wrestled with throughout my life. At different times, I have had different approaches and different answers. Ordinarily I did not know what being Jewish was.
