ABSTRACT
By applying the theory of the feeling-toned-complex and the archetypes to our analysis of cases, we have attributed a prospective role to numerous forms of psychosomatism. The somatic presentations featured occur in relationship to knowing-and-not-knowing states of consciousness, where significant areas of experience have yet to achieve full symbolization.
