ABSTRACT
OKASHI SAN had given us a letter to a Tokio friend, the editor of a newspaper. He had been to Oxford, and to Harvard University in America, and we were eager to meet him, but inquiries at the address Okashi had given us were singularly unavailing. After much searching we found our gentleman in jail.
