ABSTRACT

Indeed, some might argue that we have reached an inection point in business – driven by technology and globalization. According to ‘Moore’s Law’ – based on Gordon Moore’s famous 1965 prediction – the number of transistors on a chip would double every two months. This pace of change in technological advances has been signicantly outstripped in reality and is accelerating. It is hard to imagine how things might look in this rapidly changing landscape in 15, 30 and 45 years from now. And yet arguably, business success requires a future focus, to anticipate and adapt to the changing context.
