ABSTRACT

HRD professionals are in general agreement as to their goals. Most take the

position that HRD should focus on increasing the performance requirements

of its host organizations through the development of the organization’s

workforce (ASTD-USDL, 1990; Bassi, 2014; Knowles, 1990; McLagan,

1989; Swanson, 2007; Swanson and Holton, 2009).
