ABSTRACT
“Those people, I always call them the invisibles. I think that European society in the last 15 years has been impacted in a way that they haven’t even realized yet. And the way these people live is just amazing. I mean, there are one million Chinese immigrants in the UK now, but nobody wants to really accept or even to see it. And the conditions of these people who are looking for a couple of bucks more, unfortunately sometimes leads to exploitation. So I did a lot of journalistic exploration while I was making the movie, so the people and the places are real, and newspapers are full of those stories every day, so this is real.”
