ABSTRACT
The class are in the room; some are on mobile phones, a few are listening, singing and dancing to music on their iPods. Two children chase each other around the room, another couple are wrestling right in front of the teacher. The noise is so loud that the teacher can’t hear himself think. All he wants to do is scream ‘Shut up!’ But then he has tried this so many times before they have learned to ignore him.
