ABSTRACT
The credit system can only serve these purposes though when the free mobility of money and capital — both within national economies and between them — is guaranteed. Within Marxian theory, this mobility is seen as indispensable for capitalist development tendencies to unravel consistently. Arguably, historical developmental processes concur in call ing for free mobility of this sort as well.
