ABSTRACT
It is generally recognized that an organization’s development, whether a project or otherwise, is dependent on the effectiveness of management or those with whom the strategic responsibility and decision-making rest. Managers are expected to possess skills, knowledge and competences which facilitate smooth and efficient operations. Also, they are required to manage people and tasks in order to ensure the success and survival of their organizations in the face of an increasingly complex technological, socio-economic, cultural and economic environment.
