‘Rome has fallen, ye see it lying’

Drafted in Nbk 10, probably around the time of S.’s second visit to Rome in early March 1819. The fragment may (perhaps together with the preceding and following lines) be related to S.’s prose fragment The Coliseum’, written November 1818-May 1819 (see Shelley’s Guitar 103).
