ABSTRACT
This chapter will consider children’s safety and well-being in the broadest possible sense,
as this is represented in the three supporting statements of Standard 3. The text will ad-
dress the following key questions:
l• What are the legal requirements and guidance on health and safety, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and where can I find help and advice on these?
