ABSTRACT
This chapter builds upon the statistical material relating to samples in Chapter 3, and focuses on the analysis of a case-variable matrix (see Chapter 5) containing survey data, which have either been collected by the researcher or which were collected by other researchers and have been obtained from them either directly or via a data archive (see Chapter 7, which also considers the analysis of tabulated official statistics and other published tables/quantitative material).
