ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to explore the nature and implications of international interactions. It establishes a working definition of ‘international interactions’, and then looks specifically at four aspects of the problem: relationships, communication processes, the control of interactions, and the links between interactions and organisations in the world arena.
