ABSTRACT

The Galosh system was first deployed around Moscow subsequent to their introduction in 1964. The Galosh is the only for anti-ballistic missiles (ABM) system deployed either by the US or USSR, as permitted by the ABM Treaty of 1972 and the Protocol of 1974. An ultra-sophisticated guidance system, based on an atomic clock accurate to one second in 30,000 years, for absolutely accurate navigation and positioning of satellites. Graduated reciprocated reduction in tension (GRIT) was developed in 1962 by US professor of psychology Charles E. Osgood Under a GRIT scenario, the major problems of international relations - notably the weapons themselves put aside, and nations should concentrate on removing lesser, but more easily accessible, sources of tension. The two operators at a Ground-Based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance (GEODSS) earth station are therefore capable of near-simultaneous spotting and analysis, with computer processing - of the satellite, its origins, its orbit and of making a comparison of these factors with previous data.
