الفاعِل (subject of a verb)

المُبتدأ (subject of a جملة اسمية)

الخَبر (predicate of a جملة اسمية)

The following functions of words are marked منصوب accusative:

المَفعول به (direct object of a verb)

الظَرف (adverb)

The following functions of words are marked مجرور (genitive):

بحرف جر (the object of a preposition)

إليه (the second term of an ’idafa)
