ABSTRACT
Working in a style that differs from contemporary acting means entering a complete and fully dimensional theatrical world. We will spend the next section of this book helping you identify and enter the worlds of style with clarity and confidence. Much of what we’ll do is akin to working like an anthropologist studying a foreign culture. This is not a recipe book or set of formulas, but rather a system for investigating the world of each style and the conventions associated with it.
