Malaysia is an island nation in South-East Asia with a population of roughly 27 million. Malays make up 50 per cent of the population, with the other major ethnic groups being Chinese Malaysians and Indian Malaysians. The country is comprised of 13 states, with the capital being Kuala Lumpur.
