Teaching and Assessing Classroom Behavior, Work Habits, and Cooperative Group Learning Skills

Classroom management is an important foundation for learning activities throughout the year. Carrying out classroom routines; working with partners, small groups and the class as a whole group; and students’ personal work habits and study skills are challenges for the teacher as well as the students. When these behaviors are constructive, lessons run more smoothly. But when these behaviors are below standard, teaching and learning are both compromised.
