ABSTRACT
What role does the Internet have in the K-3 classroom? There are so many concerns about child safety and readability that teachers ask this question often. However, searching for informa tion on the Internet is only one of its many uses, and perhaps the least appropriate Internet use for young children. The greatest value of the Internet in K-3 programs is as a communication tool and as a way of publishing young children's work.
