Have you ever driven with teenagers who were new drivers as pas-sengers? If they are like most teens, they point out every rolling stop, every time you creep above the speed limit, and every yellow light that you rush through. ey seem to notice every mistake you make. In fact, maybe insurance companies should have a special discount for drivers who have teenage passengers-it is like having a full-time defensive driving instructor ride with you each step of the way. As parents, we want our children to learn how to drive safely, but some days we aren’t the best models. Our passengers might notice our bad driving habits, but we don’t want them to copy these habits. is situation conrms the age-old adage that actions speak louder than words, whether it occurs in the car with children or at work with colleagues.
