Teachers like to work with leaders who believe in them and who trust them to do their jobs. ey like bosses who will give them the benet of the doubt. When faced with problems, they appreciate leaders who will withhold judgment until more information is gathered. One important trust builder is assuming the best in others or assuming positive intent. It means that when you are presented with a potentially negative situation, you consciously choose to believe that people are trying their best and want to do a good job. Assuming positive intent means that you will wait for more information before you react in a negative way. is mind-set can help you become more trustworthy.
