Leaders who want to build trust within their schools or districts do not adhere to the old saying “He who owns the gold, makes the rules.” Nor do they adhere to the principle of “Do unto others as others do unto you.” Instead, eective leaders build trust when they practice the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
