ABSTRACT

Most leaders acknowledge the importance of learning as much as possible from the experiences that occur in the school. However, the truth is, just because we experience something does not mean we learn from it. E ective leaders reect on their experiences by debriefing aerward in order to learn and to improve their performance. ey ask themselves reection questions, such as: What happened? What did I do well? What did I not do well? How can I improve next time? Self-reection can be a powerful tool for leaders concerned with boosting trust.
