ABSTRACT

The principal must provide the leadership essential for student learning; however, the job is too large for one person. Lasting school improvement is the job of every stakeholder. To make the job of improving student learning a truly collaborative effort, a school must have aleadership team for instructional improvement. Ultimately, every member of the faculty should be involved with the team and with planning for improved student learning. This instructionalleadership team is not a group that meets once or twice a year but is constantly concerned with student learning.
