ABSTRACT

In his book, Authentic Happiness, Dr. Martin Seligman (2002) points out the

differences between momentary happiness and enduring happiness. Endur-

ing happiness is a consistent and genuine depth of happiness. On the other

hand, momentary happiness is derived from the next party, short-term rela-

tionship, or the latest materialistic acquisition. These individuals often

manufacture moments of happiness as a delusion from their underlying

unhappiness.
