ABSTRACT
For those in denial, they will blame their problems on the students, par-
ents, or a weak school administration. They even blame video games, the
media, or governmental mandates. Don’t get me wrong, all these things cer-
tainly contribute to shaping the minds and choices of young people, but these
challenges are diminished within the high-trust classroom. For many stu-
dents, the high-trust classroom is an oasis, free of the drama that may be
occurring in their world. The high-trust classroom is where students learn,
through your modeling, how to cope with the challenges that life is throwing
their way.
