Interdisciplinary work in education has garnered considerable attention in recent years as teams of teachers work together to connect curricula to students (Coffey, 2010). To support teachers in this work, school leaders can observe and nurture teachers who use an interdisciplinary approach. But what is an interdisciplinary approach to supervision, and why is such an approach important for educational leadership?
