ABSTRACT
From the standpoint of an artist with a fairly extensive experience of moving pictures, I have no hesitation in committing myself to the emphatic statement that to transplant cinematograph stories, and satisfactorily to produce them with the assistance of an alien company of actors in a country foreign to their nature, is quite beyond the bounds of possibility.
