ABSTRACT
In her chapter, Andrea Woody addresses the central question of this volume ( How has the practice turn modifi ed both our conception of science and the way in which we analyze it? ) by showing us how an interest in scientists’ practices can open up new ways of analyzing theoretical activity in empirical science as well as general and classical philosophical issues concerning scientifi c representation and scientifi c explanation.
