ABSTRACT

Inter-correlations of ACC clinical scale scores for the development sample (n = 412) are presented in Table 11.1, while gender-specific inter-correlations of ACC clinical scale scores for the CICS baseline sample are listed in Chapter 8 (Table 8.4). As anticipated, scores on the interpersonal behaviour scales were moderately correlated, while scores on the lower prevalence scales (abnormal pain response, food maintenance, self-injury, and suicide discourse) correlated less with other scales. Correlations of clinical scale scores and the total clinical score ranged from r = .38 to .83. A principal components factor analysis conducted on the 10 clinical scale scores indicates the instrument has no higher-order factor structure (such as internalizing versus externalizing factors).
